Isn't that a job from the 1980's that is now obsolete because of the internet? The internet made traveling 'instant' but didn't make it easier. The bulk of your travel is the planning stage which is where I come in. Let me use my knowledge and skills to help you plan your next great adventure. Your time is a valuable commodity and needs to be spent appropriately. Everyone wants the latest and greatest best deal available, but what if your discount means you have a 15 hour layover? What if you are stuck in a foreign country and need immediate assistance?
What if you get double charged for a rental car or hotel room and can't negotiate a refund? What if you book a cheap air ticket on a third party website and need help with a change? The planning stages of travel are the most stressful parts of traveling. As your travel agent you have me on your team for the duration of your trip, from the planning stages until you return home. My earliest adventures with my parents were on those long car trips to visit Grandpa on the other side of North Dakota.
My parents dragged us kids around on many car adventures and it lit a fire in me that still burns today. It wasn't until I took a school trip to Mexico that I realized my passion for experiencing a true journey. The history, the culture, the food, the language...all of it was so mysterious and adventurous! It even followed me to college where I earned a degree in Anthropology with a focus on Cultural Anthropology and migration. It fascinated me why people moved, it still fascinates me.
